What happened
Sunnova filed Chapter 11 on Jun 8, 2025 in the Southern District of Texas. Solaris Assets bought substantially all assets and operations; Sunnova has ceased independent operations.
What it means for customers
SunStrong Management took over servicing of most in-service customer systems (billing, monitoring, O&M). Sunnova says payment arrangements stay the same: keep paying as usual until SunStrong sends new instructions.
Next steps: 1) Find your equipment brand and get monitoring back. 2) Check who bills you (lender or lease company) and keep records. 3) Find a repair company in your state. Full checklist: what to do.
