What happened
PosiGen filed Chapter 11 in late 2025. Renewbrook Energy, a Brookfield portfolio company, acquired its portfolio of residential solar systems in February 2026.
What it means for customers
Renewbrook contracted Omnidian for monitoring and maintenance. PosiGen's notice tells customers to keep paying lease/PPA bills and watch for contact from Renewbrook or SunStrong depending on account.
Next steps: 1) Find your equipment brand and get monitoring back. 2) Check who bills you (lender or lease company) and keep records. 3) Find a repair company in your state. Full checklist: what to do.
