What happened

ADT announced on Jan 24, 2024 that it would exit the residential solar business, winding down during 2024. ADT Solar was formerly Sunpro Solar.

What it means for customers

Per reporting, existing customers' workmanship warranties and production guarantees remained in place. Spruce Power announced ADT as its first Spruce Pro servicing customer to handle warranty claims for former ADT Solar customers.
